In 11 years of building custom furniture for clients who value quality, we kept hearing the same thing — “We just can’t find a well-made sofa that looks good, feels comfortable, lasts long, and doesn’t cost a fortune.” So, we decided to take the next logical step and start our own sofa brand.... we call it Habita. This is our answer to cheap imports and overpriced designer furniture. We create durable, beautiful sofas, designed for real homes and made right here in South Africa.

Cheap imported sofas have flooded our local market — pushing aside South African craftsmanship and suffocating our once thriving furniture manufacturing trade. We decided to change that...

In that time, we’ve reupholstered more than 2,000 sofas, crafted over 12,000 cushions, and custom-built 100's of designer sofas and chairs.
